Scenic and Seating etc.

Ok, I suppose. Could have improved a little on the style, looks a bit like a local golf course centre’s reception desk what with the plain plush white leather chairs and plastic tables. There are no plants to be seen, as if they were extinct, and the music in the audio is hardly audible. Not saying it’s bad, but they could’ve done better on it when they were building, even if it is restricted to a small little corner shop space.

Lights are pretty normal. Look like those you have at home. Apart from the fact that Pepper Lunch work clothes make the staff look like muddy-brown pigs in the faded orange and chocolate coloured clothes and cap, seems like an perfectly ordinary perfectly normal café, which is like every other café you see. In fact, I wouldn’t have even given it a second glance if I hadn’t see the area saying ‘teppan spaghetti’ on the menu when I gave it a final fleeting glance. (I have an unconvincing obsession with spaghetti-anyone going to Italy and needs someone to join them, count me in.)

Service

Quite good. Although the staff are, as normal, stubborn, restricted and kind of annoying. True, they can have a laugh, but not usually for a particularly nice reason. The staff at Pepper Lunch were like every other restaurant’s service there, but when they serve your meal things perk up a little.

They smile; they laugh; and suddenly they are exactly like English waiters! You have a bit of a joke and a laugh before going on to cook your dinner. Otherwise, like anywhere else. Room for improvement, I think.
